What did you do to your non-G Body project today [2024 edition]

Yeah, they're easy to hop up. Supposedly this one was tuned a little but I'm not sure what exactly was done. Probably just the easy stuff. It has a cold air intake and I can build mid-30s boost under load. I can be the black smoke guy if I want to but I drive like an old man. Not sure if any of that translates to more than the 170 factory hp rating.

I'll take 170hp/600lb-ft over 350/350 anyday

It had an unfortunate Maaco paint job about 10 years ago. The clear coat peeled and the previous owner had it redone. It lasted a few more months.

The body is 98% perfect and there's zero rust. I'm considering giving it a desert tan or FDE single stage repaint. It's just not near the top if the list yet.

The upside is that, aside from the carpet, the interior is really, really nice. The 2nd-gen 12 valve isn't much In the power department. But they're also damn near indestructible.
Perfect candidate for a cheap single stage job. Has the KDP been tabbed on it?
Not supposed to be overly difficult to squeeze 600 ft/lb from one.
A lot of power can be made for cheap just by modding the pump. Beyond that, you're getting into turbo and injectors which is where stuff starts to get expensive.

That, I don't know. It's on my winter to-do list. I need to replace the front springs and shocks to get the nose back up where it belongs. It's also got a vibration in the rear at 75mph. I'll start with a tire balance but it's entirely possible that the driveline needs smoothed out too.

I really don't need another project, so this one will mostly stay as it is for now. It's got enough power for my needs. I just need to make sure it's 110% reliable.

Pulled the carpet out of the 90 k1500 plow truck to clean it, probably for the first time ever. Not too bad imo. I only had $10 in quarters for the local car wash, but it got a lot cleaner.
