New cylinder of welding giggle juice. I’ve been burning a lot of wire lately, so it was time to refill it before I ran out at the least opportune time. The price of it has gone up considerably like everything else lately since I last got it filled, $110 Canuckistan pesos vs $75ish the last time.

But the last fill lasted 5+ years, so I guess I can’t complain much. Full steam ahead again!

What do you do when a deep well socket is too long and a shallow well is too short?

Make a "mid well" out of a deep well!

not today but a few weeks ago I got around to rearranging my work area, I orginially had by big *ss workbench next to the wall, but it was so deep the back was almost useless, so I seen an episode of Uncle Tony's garage where his benches these long side out, and It looked like it would be better so i tried it and really like it.

This was before and just off camera is a cheap bench someone made out of 200 2x4's and 0 experience, and it was free so I took it and it served as a collection area for junk so I sorted it all and took the bench completely apart and replaced it with one I built for my carport at the house.

It was the one on the back wall with the grinder.

Then I wondered about moving the boxes along the area the bench was .

Spent the day cleaning it. Wish I had a before pic. It was BAD. Some what reasonable now, still more to do so I can actually use my work benches though.

I feel your pain! I clean and organize a little, then something comes up. Work on something and before I know it, it looks like before. I REALLY need to do a thorough cleaning and organization.

We used to throw at least one garage party a year. Probably 30 people over, drinks spilled, good times had. That forced me to thoroughly clean the garage. Was kind of nice actually.

The weathers sunny and 55 here today in Long Island, it’s weird for sure. Got up, we had breakfast and when I opened up the garage where I keep Sam, I laughed, closed it and we are headed to walk the dogs on the beach 👍

Added a bunch of task lighting. Unfortunately the camera doesn't demonstrate the significance.

I need some hooks to arrive so I can install the drop down overhead light for when I am welding... and hanging the 10'x10' welding blankets.
