I am working on a father son project with my two sons. They do not use forums. They prefer YouTube and searching for online videos on How Tos if they can find them. I have found that if I can find a video showing me the steps and comparing it to what is in fount of me it is helpful also. We do go to shows etc together but I do not see them ever getting involved with a forum like this, just not the way their generation communicates. My father's generation did not use forums.

But while i am here I'll share what I got done last weekend . I installed upper and lower CPP tubular control arms .My originals were toast. ball joints loser than a $5 hooker ,bushings almost not there .

New stuff and cleaned and painted , front and rear suspension is 100% new /rebuiltView attachment 194083
I bought spc uppers, I like them but I hate them. I put them on to gain header clearance on my 350 Buick I installed little did I know I had to run a different offset or a wheel spacer because the inside rim lip would almost touch the ball joint.

Sucks about the SPC , they need to disclose that info .
CPP is a US made product which I liked so far very happy with them . El Camino now steers as tight as my 2019 commuter.
I did notice my ride height looks to be about 1" lower now . Not a bad thing , but now thinking about cutting my eibach rear springs to get her level .
