Thats a pretty chilling pic and story. Smart move on your part to boogie when you did. I wonder how many of those cars had a loaded firearm in them. It is Texas after all. Every other?

uh ya I was in high school then and gas wasn't .79 a gallon anywhere. It was more than double that. More like 1.80-2.00. Minimum wage and inflation has gone up a LOT in the last 10 years, 3.20/gal today is not far off the mark. My high school job made 4.80 or something less than 5$/hr min wage, now min wage is around 7.25/hr.
We're not talkin 90's, that was cheap gas, still not anywhere near .79 a gallon though.

Bonnewagon said:Ahhh, going Postal, what a concept. I'm ex-Postal, and ex-military. The reason they go off is that they are pushed to the breaking point by incompetent/corrupt management that like to dangle your job over your head, just to see you kow-tow. Add to that there are a ton of military veterans in the PO and you have a recipe for disaster. And the PO is another horse manure factory. If you knew how many useless high paying management positions there were, you would know why they are going broke. But we have short memories. When gas hit $4 in 08' what happened? We stopped driving, dumped the SUV's, and downsized. Then when the economy tanked, gas prices dropped to $1 and the morons when right out and bought huge SUV's all over again. Gas has creeped up ever since. We never learn.
