Depends on alot of factors such as, engine build, size of stall, what transmission, and what will you be doing with the car.
I run 3.42 in a mild built 350 and love them. Good enough to get off the line and I am not running 3k going down the highway.
Not sure on drain plug but ive always removed the return hose and started the car. Then i add more fluid to the pump and work the wheel back and forth to flush all old fluid out of the system.
You could install new pump and leave the return off until it pumps enough thru the steering box to...
Dropped the rear end out. It's on it's way to Collings Differential for a gear swap. Did some more work on the engine, it should be in by next weekend.
I'm not sure we have any good race shops left around here. Its alot easier for me to get online and order what I need from Jegs. I bought a crate engine through them and it was a pos. The builder gave me all kinds of sh*t but jegs stood behind it and was a great help.
I bet money your crap is scattered all over fedex. The jegs invoice states at the top that the order are weighed for quality assurance. It is fedexs issue however I bet jegs will make it right.
Painted and installed new AC block off plate. Cleaned and painted crossmember. Installed intake, harmonic balancer and water pump. Getting ready to plant the new engine into its home!!
There are alot of good looking cars in this month, but here is my 79 malibu, 383 stroker 430 horse 500 foot lb of torque Hooker full length headers, flowmaster 40's.
