BUILD THREAD 86 GP 2+2~Blown 6.0

During my recently finished HG swap I found the same thing - rockers and spotlessly clean valve train. My plugs even look the same as yours. I used to hear endless stories of LS trunnion bearing failures. I guess we both have been 'lucky' running stock rockers, ehh?

Good luck on drag weekend - in for results. I'll try to keep up on your posts, but I think I'm going to be busy for the next week or so 😉
 
Yeah maybe it's the e85 or just semi regular oil changes (I think I have 2500 miles & 25 passes on this oil) but it makes me wonder how little people change oil on stuff when it shows up totally sludged up.

Anyways I don't blame you on being radio silent. May your head gaskets stay in & trans stay cool! Hopefully I see some 9's! What hotel are you staying at Wednesday night? I am staying at a buddies in Bettendorf (on the IA side of Cordova).

I'm shooting for an 11.50 at Cordova & Byron and see if it will run a 10.99 at Tri-state.

Oh, and wow. I looked up the curb weight, it's not even 5000lb, 4950 or something!! it's one fat dude more than a hellcat haha!

Somewhere in the early 2000s they revised the trunions, I know my 04 Z06 has them. What year is the 6.0 81?

1-2 shift wheelie! And 2 step shift fireballs

The cleanest pass was a 7.37 at 96. 1mph more and .15 faster than it's every 1/8 miled before.

I think the times are irrelevant when you have pictoral proof of a wheelie and fireballs on the shift.
