I got an early registration invite for Sick Summer in June

Con/Pro?: My wife is due Mid may with our first kid so I think she would be less than happy for me to run away and race for a week when she is alone with a 2 week old at home.

So probably not going to go on sick summer

Ohh well, gives me time to get the car lined out this summer without a huge deadline.

You guys have a quota or limit on the kiddos?

More than one less than 1 too many? Lol not really.

I've spent the last 3 days blowing snow (14" in about 3shots in the last 2 1/2 days so been busy there.

So I got my poop in a group and ordered heim LCA's from Trick along with the rear control arm braces. Trying to stiffen the rear up and make the geometry work better. Get rid of the heeby-jeebies

Honestly for $160 the LCA's are really nice and for $115 the brace kit is a good deal. I was expecting the bracing to just be laser cut but it came nicely tig welded.

Dropped the axle tonight and started test fitting the bracing. Technically the LCA braces require the body to come off to weld the top but they are really beefy and if I just weld the sides and bottom it should be more than enough.

I need to pick up some 1/2 UCA bolts to replace the M12 stuff and I can start really hot glue gunning everything into place.

Those do look nice. I was debating getting those; might do that at some point.

Burned in the upper brackets on both sides tonight, drilled the bushings out on the UCA's to accept 1/2" instead of M12 hardware. Got the driver's side LCA bracket welded in but need longer hardware so I called it a night.

Overall the welds went ok. Position was hard and I didn't weld 360 degrees on every part but the stuff is so HD I'm not concerned.

I had like 2hrs of videos on my phone and my google account said I need to pay for storage, so I decided I would just process the videos I intended and delete them so I can plug my phone up with more car photos.

Anywhere heres a video on my CPP swaybar install.

Happel posted on the sloppy page that Holley had some clearance items. I checked and they had retrobright headlights on sale for over 50% off (orig $200 now $94). I've heard they are great and it looks like they superceeded the PN with some light wiring changes. The lites on my GP suck anyways so it will be a good change.

So I bought 4, 2 for the GP and 2 for the cutlass. I need to get the high beams but they aren't on sale and I can grab those later.

And they have bonkers good pricing on closeout wheels
