BUILD THREAD 87 Cutlass EFI build: 9/13/23..NEW STUFF!

If you haven't caught it by now, I tend to do things the hard way. Dunno why, just comes natural I guess.
You have a method and a goal. It's looking damn good and I'm rooting for you. Carry on with the winning. 😉👍

So I came home for lunch today since I was conveniently down the road. The ignition issue with gauge lights has been bugging me because they worked fine before. So, I moved the connector to a different spot and everything works on that end. Now I don't have fans or electric vacuum pump which isn't an issue atm. I put a couple gallons of 93 in the cell and started cycling the pump to check for leaks. The rail started showing 40psi(I know I need 58) with no leaks evident.
I thought, crank it again to make sure and the dang thang fired off!!!! Caught me off guard as I wasn't expecting it, and it's open headers right now. I shut it off immediately since there is no trans fluid, and a couple vacuum ports are still unhooked(trying to get the proper catch can routing figured out).
The laptop is charging as I type, gonna try to get trans fluid in shortly, and may see if I can get a tune loaded. Not sure what tune is in the ECM, could be stock or modified, I dunno.
It's a busy family night so not sure what will get done, but optimistic for the next couple days.

awesome work and dedication.... 👍

but how come I have not seen one bucket of popcorn in this thread??......🤔
Cuz you had to ask...…
