I was just kidding about the burnout vid. It's too pretty for that stuff.
Hahaha, I like your style...the ole adolescent reverse psychology mind trick! Fortunately for all of us I'm not afraid to do burnouts in my "pretty" car!!! I assure once there is a healthy tune loaded and nothing is leaking or catastrophically wrong I will make some clouds.

Love the "Wooohooooo!" !!!!!!!! Awesome feeling bro !
That was more of a "oh sh*t that fired off and caught me off guard"!!! Luckily the VATS was enabled and it wouldn't run anyways.
As of this morning the 16th, the trans is pretty close to full of fluid, and a very basic tune is loaded with VATS disabled, correct trans loaded and a couple other things. I need to figure out speed density tuning since I'm not running a MAF, and adjust the PE(power enrichment) tables so that it actually responds to the throttle!

Why did I think you were running a Holley 'puter? I guess you're doing all this through HPT? That's a steep learning curve!
He's a smart dude. He'll get it right. I'm gonna use terminator X to handle that chore! Anything has to be easier than swapping jets and power valves

I'm just saying that I've played in HPT a little, and it doesn't make much sense to me. I'd have to do some immersion training or something to get my head around it. MHM was helping me a bit with some issues my buddy is having, and I'm not really comfortable making the changes for him. I'm not a huge A.I. fan, but a wider margin of error on the tuning side with some self-learn ability with the Holley appeals to me.

Yep, HPT baby! It is a learning curve, but I have some legit help in my corner! I spent some time running through it last night before crashing. It's only as hard as one makes it. It has been a goal of mine to be self sufficient enough to tune myself. Also, I'm too much of a cheap *ss to take the car to a guy that can do the same thing as me....just might take me a tad longer.

but how come I have not seen one bucket of popcorn in this thread??......
probably because suggestions actually make it to practical application quickly in here... by the time the popcorn is ready, he's solved the problem and moved to the next!

keep up the great progress!

Here's progress report for the day! IT'S ALIVE, well sorta! It fires up, sounds badass but dies because I don't know yet how to program the MAF out of the tune! Also have to learn how to command it for open loop so the O2's won't try to correct the AFR. I was expecting this, I have a learning curve, but ain't no hill for a climber!!! Straight up racecar stuff....open headers FTW!!!
