You mentioned these leaks... inquiring minds need to know!
Nothing major. Ran the car last night for a good friend who was over. One of the NPT to AN fittings in the trans cooler is leaking. Just need to remove, retape and install. Just sucks because I know it'll make a mess!
Also learned that I need to drop the cold idle rpm a bit, and figure out the IAC...it takes a couple seconds to return to idle after a blip of the throttle.

Finishing up for the night. As mentioned, I'm super happy with the hood hinges this time around. I also did the loosen, lower, and snug on the A arms and it helped a ton!!!! I'll have to roll it out to double check camber. D suggested bouncing the frontend to move stuff around, so did that real quick and got the frontend down 1.25" from before to after! The front now sits almost dead level with the rear at 27-1/4".

Hopefully I can recruit the neighbor over to help bolt the hood on this week sometime.

No fall weather here yet. I'm hoping we're past the worst of it though. August in Houston....

No 98°-100° days is encouraging. Progress looks awesome. Very happy for you.

Ok boys, had another trick up my sleeve for awhile now, just awaiting the time to reveal it and now is the time! The hood struts I've been using serve their purpose just fine, but look rather blah! I came across a Canadian company several years back that makes custom spec stainless units. Sooooo after some back and forth getting the details ironed out I ordered a pair with matching stainless hardware.
They showed up today and look absolutely perfect, and have that "custom" flair to them. To get a good comparison, here is old vs new....

And some gratuitous assembled shots. Just need to get my neighbor over and help install the hood.

I love the attention to detail, this will be so sweet when it's done.
