Understanding that you have to work out the dome light position . . .

If you don’t mind sharing, is there a better order putting up the headliner? Rear, side, side, front? Front, side, side, rear? Doesn’t matter?

On my short list . . . Thx!

Garth, once I got the headliner somewhat muscled up, I quickly spun the side clips to hold it, then wedged a piece of wood with a rag over it to support the rear of it. I located the screw holes for the coat hooks, then mounted them. Then I tightened the side clips, then popped the front trim on(as of tonight it might be coming back off to fix a clip). Then the side pieces. The rear trim piece can't go on until the upper sail panels are installed.

Your OCD really shows. FYI, those non-lighted visor pivots are the same part number, so they fit either side. Technically they didn't have be marked "D" and "P". But at least they'll go back where they belong.

How'd that weatherstrip work out? I see you got the "flat D" shaped. Looks like it'll do the job.

I wouldn't even know what a unicorn was supposed to look like, but if your daughter is happy with it, that's all that matters. Cute kid. Heal fast!
I'm thinking the weatherstrip will be just fine. It's made of the same spongy epdm stuff and is pretty pliable. I'll find out soon enough I guess.

Having two girls, there is so much unicorn poop in this house it's stupid lol! I grew up with 3 older sisters, so sorta used to all the pink and purple hoopla....my garage is my sanctuary for a reason lmao!

Quick update, after fighting with the visors I finally got the holes lined up and mounted. Then turned my attention back to the rearview mirror. I swapped in the LED's, turned them on and turned the shop lights out to test. They're BRIGHT AF!!!!! Hopefully I'll pickup the package tray tomorrow and get it in place.

Did a quick cleanup on the visor brackets and hand polished with Mothers mag polish. Also just finished gluing the insulation on, and sticking down the new seal around the sail panel trim. Those are ready for install once the package tray is in.View attachment 124956View attachment 124957

Also drew a unicorn as requested on the kid's cool new cast....View attachment 124959
I painted mine gunmetal since I was trying to get rid of all the shiny stuff, glad to hear that D or P doesn't matter on them because I was not bright enough to mark them when rushing to get everything off

I thought about painting everything either gunmetal or black, but I want some shiny to help compliment the engine bay. If everything is black it would be too much IMO, but having some shiny to break it up will actually look more cohesive. The gunmetal in your interior fits though.

Appreciate it, yeah I agree that the murder out look would be too much

Another update woohoo!!!! I picked up the package tray which looks killer! Came home and added some insulation to the backside, put the end caps on and sat it in place.
Bolted down the brake light mount, then brake light. I'm super happy with the looks, and after wedging a 2x4 under the brake pedal I was able to verify the LED upgrade works and it's bright.
