Just because I'm tidying up around the shop I decided to get a better pic. If somebody says they didn't see my brake lights, they're either blind or they won lol! Most people should be seeing them though.

I never hide my license plate. Am I stupid?

Those young girl bikes next to your new paint is FREAKING me out man!

Hutch
Lmao!!!! Oh trust me Hutch, those things are strategically placed, and only I am allowed to move them! The girls know their role and that's no joke. Also, I usually have the cover on the car, but was messing around in the trunk so I just pulled it.

Alright, backwards progress update. I didn't notice until after install, but the front outer mounting plate on the seatbelt is shaped different than the OE unit. At first it didn't seem like a big deal, but doing some test makes me uncomfortable not fixing the issue now.
In this pic the OE plate is left and new is right. You can see how the bend in the plate is on the wrong end of the new one. This basically puts the seatbelt up against the door panel and might possibly interfere with it...

So, I pulled the lower sail panel trim and belts, and I'll need to go next door and use the vise and a strong hammer to put the correct bend. While the trim is out I made new insulation for them.
The stock stuff came off in pieces, and I wasn't worried at first, but knowing the panels had to be removed I figure why not. My upholstery guy gave me a big enough piece for free, so I quickly made some pieces up. No, they're not perfect, but it's just to keep the squeaks and such away.
