I personally would resist bending the catch. Things like that seem to always mysteriously bend themselves back over time when you're not watching and...not good in the long term. Is it contacting the tip or the side? Suggest maybe do a contour grind on the end a little on that catch and repaint if it's just hitting the end. Or bite the bullet, concede and lower the cooler. JMO.
The tip or the side hahahahaaaa!!!! Honestly, it's hitting the top edge and would need to come forward roughly 1/4" to clear and hood shut all the way!
I'll look into moving the cooler, just sucks cause trans fluid stinks. That might be a spring fix, I'll just remove the catch for now.

Why do you have to disconnect it? Can you make some spacers and use longer bolts?
I will avoid disconnecting if possible. I'll have to look at it more this evening...all the holiday festivities in full force now which eats up the evenings now. I wanna say the center header panel support will be in the way from moving forward.
I might have to flip it to the radiator side of the brackets which would entail more work.

Some might have seen the update on the other thread, but I removed the old seat covers in prep for the new material coming. The arms that bolt down with the seatbelts had surface rust, so I quickly scuffed them, hit with self etch and some satin black. Didn't need to be pretty, just protected....

Also waited for two hours for my exhaust to be delivered from the brown truck. Had to leave, sure enough 15 mins later I got the notification! Called the neighbor to have him retrieve it to find out he already snatched it and put in his shop, whatta guy!!!! Got home from xmas activities and retrieved the package, I'll move it around later since it takes up too much space!
