Been out here piddling with a few odds and ends. Bolted the hood safety catch on with matching fasteners to everything else in the engine bay. Then assembled the glove box. The lock is sitting there, I want to verify clearance with the ECM before installing the lock. That'll be it for now boys. Thanks 69hurstolds for the hookup on the hood cable, I'll be sure to pay it forward!!!

Boy you have been busy! Can't say I shared your vision with the carbon fiber until now. Your dash looks amazing and I like the carbon fiber now. Good work!
Haha, thanks Zach! Yeah it was hard for a lot of people to see the ideas with that ugly brown dash and all saddle interior!
Glad you pulled through and like it, I sure as heck do! I'm still drawing the designs for the upper door panels...not sure what I wanna do there but it'll all be tied together.

Good news, bad news! Good news: the very nice hood cable showed up from 69HurstOlds. I did a quick clean up and got it installed. It works perfect! Thanks again Mike!!!!

Bad news: my hood safety catch is hitting the trans cooler 🤬!!!!! Gonna look at it more in a bit to see if I can bend it some to clear the cooler. If not I'll be lowering the cooler!

I personally would resist bending the catch. Things like that seem to always mysteriously bend themselves back over time when you're not watching and...not good in the long term. Is it contacting the tip or the side? Suggest maybe do a contour grind on the end a little on that catch and repaint if it's just hitting the end. Or bite the bullet, concede and lower the cooler. JMO.
