I pulled yet another long night getting the turn signals wet sanded, then just finished polishing them a few minutes ago. Now to untape, and retape to prep for paint! This light resto is getting old to be honest, but I am starting to see light at the end of the tunnel.

Yet again, I spent some time taping the turn signals off last night in prep for paint.
When I got home today it was a little more humid, but still in my "ok" range, so I got my redneck paint booth ready lol!

After a quick wipe down I got to it, a couple coats of adhesion promoter, primer, and then SEM trim black.

Once they cured for a bit, I untaped them and man these turned out great as well!

Once installed, the frame I painted black will almost disappear in the bumper, revealing only the lenses(or at least I hope). Thanks for tuning in guys, the feedback is appreciated as always!!!

Agreed! The 1st time I used it I freaked out thinking it wasn't spraying right because it comes out kind of blotchy! Then it levels out soooo smooth it's crazy!!! It's not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for.

This is what I've been using since all of my trim is satin black...

I've boxed up all my lights as well as my grills and headlight surrounds. They are on their way to you now. Hoping for a quick turnaround...could you have them ready by early August?

LOL!!! I'm starting to see a potentially lucrative side business. Honestly, I'm just trying to avoid buying replacement lights so I figured I would give it a shot to spruce them up on my own.

I'm truly humbled by the responses and offers, it makes all these late nights standing outside sanding and polishing a little less boring! I'm just an average guy with a vision of a cool cutlass, if you guys think that highly of my work then I know I've done a job well done!

The lenses look great! I haven't tried that trim black, I've use the SEM years ago, the can looked different, maybe a different formula? In any case, it's looking good, forward progress no matter how small is still progress.
