Alrighty, done sanding for the night as the alarm will be screaming early and I'm fed up with being attacked by miniature winged missiles! I got the lenses up to 1000 grit and they are starting to show signs of shiney life again!
...miniature winged missiles...
To be honest, when using the 320 on the trim areas i could feel the heat beginning to transfer through to my fingers lol! I just let up a little...the wet sanding doesn't generate really any heat, I'm super careful when polishing with my drill! With all the sanding and rubbing you are doing, I am surprised these lenses haven't melted on you!
Thanks buddy! After a little snooze time I'm at it again. I have to wipe the minor polish off that got under the tape, then get them ready to paint.Nice work Scott. Looking forward to seeing the finished project. You've really been working hard, putting in a lot of time on those lights.
Thanks man! I have a hard time knowing how the cutlass will look after paint and thinking of half assing something as simple as lights just won't cut it for me!Dedication!
Now you know how body men feal lolThanks man! I have a hard time knowing how the cutlass will look after paint and thinking of half assing something as simple as lights just won't cut it for me!
Sanding sucks, I hate the tedious process, but i can put in a couple hours each night after the kids crash and the results make me happy😀!
