Still couldn't locate the Goodmark ones on ebay.
I recall a discussion several years ago here that Brian from Gbodyparts.com was saying that he had been buying these clips for years and they never came in a box. I know they came in a box because I've purchased them and they came 10 to a box. I've never seen them any other way except in a box. And for a while, they were restricted in how many you could buy at a time, for some unknown reason. I think it was limited to 2 boxes per order. Well, there was ways around that...Then that restriction was lifted.
You can always tell a non-GM one. The aftermarkets are lighter in color. And I'm betting they're not as tough (initially) of a material. The GM ones will get brittle after years and years, however.

Yep, talked to the dealer. There are a couple dealers within 100 miles that have a few, but if I come in and prepay I can order whatever qty from the VPI warehouse at normal cost. I'll stop in there next week and get some.
What was the normal cost he quoted you? Since they're not in the GMSPO system any longer, there's a markup from VPI they do. Just curious. $2.42 was the latest list price each I was able to find. ($24.20 per box)
$2.70/each which isn't bad. I'll get some ordered next week.
Nope, not a bad price at all. At least you can get them.
Quick question and sorry to hijack.... Going to hardtop from vinyl, what trim pieces do I need for back window and does anyone sell them nos or is it basically junkyard or people selling them ?
In short, all 5 of them! Long piece across the top, 1 on each side, 2 interlocking across the bottom. If you find NOS get your wallet out, even good used or pricey.
Just had an aha moment. One of my sisters and brother in law came over for some homemade potato soup. He works for LKQ Corp which also owns Goodmark. He now has the part number for the clips and gonna let me know Monday what price he can get on them. I'll let everybody know, and if need be I don't mind doing a bulk buy.
