cant tell 100% by his pics but in stock form there is a single cable from the pedal in car until it splits to two over the rear axle ( right about where the LCA bolts to the body ).

Question. How do these compare to blazer front brakes in size? And can you still run 15" wheels?

The Blazer and Camaro rear brakes are about identical. Since Blazers came with 15" steel wheels, I think they should fit fine. I don't have one with the right bolt pattern to check for you.

Finally, after an absurd amount of time, I hung the original LS1 axle conversion in the wagon today. I installed the cable brackets on the control bolts, and now need to brainstorm the cables. The original Malibu cables are asymmetric: the passenger side loops over to the driver's side and meets up with the driver's side cable. The Camaro cables are the same length since they meet up under the console over the transmission.

You have an awesome brainstorming team...:) I have the F body handbrake and cables, I wonder if there is a way to join two cables with a union to fit the passenger side.

and it just occurred to me that the F body cable has the same fitting on it so it works with my drum brakes. Will the stock cable not work on those calipers?

That's what we do here. Try to crowdsource the answer (with a little snark filtering)

I have the F body handbrake and cables, I wonder if there is a way to join two cables with a union to fit the passenger side.

The F-body cables have a rectangular slot crimped on the end of the cable. How about a 1/8" removable chain link to connect to a similar design on the other cable?

...and it just occurred to me that the F body cable has the same fitting on it so it works with my drum brakes. Will the stock cable not work on those calipers?

It seems like the stock GM Gbody cables can be made to work with a little modification of the LSCustom's 'L' bracket. Stay tuned.
