If that brass fitting is just a regular elbow with no flare that is a problem either way

There is no fitting in the intake large enough for that, plus it doesnt look like it would fit the countours of my engine. And that's essentially what I already have, plus the elbow.

There is/should be a NPT port in the rear of the carb base. Just need a NPT to flare adapter.

There isn't. Just that lil port the elbow screws into. Other one is the trans mod hole which is the same size.

Oh, you said IN the carb base... Nope. Buick didnt do that.

Ahem... As I said, Buick didn't do that with their carbs. There is no threaded port in the base plate.
