I think the real surprise here is the number of LS engines at only 3 so far...

Agreed. Now I understand why answers to LS swap questions are so hard to come by.

Does nobody like the 4.3 v6? I think they're great

I sorta love my 4.3 Lol. It's been very reliable and it has decent torque for a 30 year old engine. It's not too bad for driving back and forth to work but I don't plan on keeping it long term. I want the power, and sound of a V8.

Mark me down for 496 cubic inches of big, overweight, dead big block chubby! Sorry I have a bunch of LS friends that ask me why I went with the big block. Even tho their sh*t doesn't run 😛

Don't forget the forgoten 200 Chevy V6. By now if you have one you're using it as an anchor. My brother had a GP that had a 252/4.1 Buick V6 back in the mid '90's.

True. How could I forget the short-lived 4.1L. There's always somebody on TurboBuick.com thinks he wants to make a turbo out of that block. There was also a smaller Buick V6, I think, like 3.0L .... ? Or was that never in G-bodies? So many oddball motors.

And a Chevy and olds 5.0 are still small blocks. So it still fits. If they want to denote further as to what it is, they can comment.

Comments don't show up in the poll numbers. As a Buick enthusiast, you should be concerned about the other makes padding their numbers. 😛

Actually there were turbo 4.3s....I saw a cyclone swap on a Monte once

True. They spelled it Syclone for some reason, though. What was the other one? I forget.

So maybe MrSony should split the splits (that he hasn't split). 😀
