so it will be the casting number...

Okay I will get it, their coming at 3 with their engine taking mine out and I guess waiting until I can get the money for the extra little parts.
Which I think their taking my engine and scraping it for extra money to get the parts and giving me the remaining money from it.

But I will make sure when its here to get the number.

Gives me a chance to look it up and clean out my bay so its not filled with gunk.

Keep that 200R4 no matter what, otherwise your gas millage will drop with that Th350 pretty hard.
And i THINK you'll need to have your driveshaft modified, and get a different transmission mount/ maybe crossmember if you use the Th350.

If the 200R4 in your car now, does not have a dual bolt pattern then just buy an adapter kit.

Don't let all this confuse you, you're definitely taking the better path then rebuilding that 3.8

They took my engine off and actually I have a 350turbo trans it it brand new.
They asked me did you get a brand new trans I said no they said whoever had this before got a brand new trans.

So I guess it was never a 200r4.

I didnt look long but what I found from a google search may answer your question about the other code. I am sure you can search around a little longer and find more specific info. Check the 7th post and you will see a guy talking about the t3 conve code having something to do with manufacturing. Oh ya what you paid isnt bad. Honestly if the engine and trans your getting were cores and needed rebuilt 200 isnt bad. So you made out alright bud. Heres the link
