Is the fan, water pump, and harmonic balancer the only things I remove to get to the timing chain cover ?

Ok, now I need to stick the rubber timing cover gasket to the timing cover...

I hear to use weather strip adhesive but I don't have any of that...

I have HI TEMP RTV, Ultra Black Oil Resistant RTV, and JB WELD Extreme Super Glue...

Will any of these things work to "glue" the rubber gasket to the timing cover... ?

Silicone sealers are not as good when it comes to holding something in place. That means the 1st two options are not going to work as well.

Never used JB Weld Extreme Super Glue so I don't know what qualities it has. Does it list that it's automotive gas/oil/fluids compatible?

At Autozone trading the glue for weatherstrip adhesive

I have always just used the ultra black RTV to stick the seal to the timing cover. Most of the stuff will set up and hold it in place after an hour.

If there is any chrome plating where the seal sits I would scuff it up first

Can you elaborate ? Beat/scratch it up some ?
Scotch Brite pad, sandpaper, etc. You want the adhesive to be able to have some bite on the metal surface
