Switched over from my original Taillights that are missing the rockets, to the 81-83 style that I blacked out the chrome on. Mainly because my reverse lights had the blacked out look, also the chrome on those new ones was beyond repair lol.

What do you guys think? look ok?

I started a thread yesterday on the interior page:
In case you missed it, here's a test-fit of a Cadillac Eldorado back seat in my Monte. Visualize this in the right color and maybe some of the old velour stitched into the seat pockets. One show to attend this weekend and then work begins...

I like both. Not a big chrome fan but the originals look nice with that little bit of chrome outlining the taillight where it meets the quarter. However, with the ones you just installed, I think the the black looks nice especially if the chrome was shot.

That rear seat looks sweet back there. Are you gonna try the fronts too? I did the opposite, I swapped in BMW fronts but now I need to get the rear to match

Bought paint and stuff finally. Started taking the door handles off.

I agree with the other guys, but it may just be the picture angle. It almost looks like your missing the trim all together in the picture shown. Could you put up another picture with the blacked from the side, similar to your sig...

You car is ****ing beautiful though in that sig, I want to drink your paint job, lol... The chrome looks real good with it too imo...

Who did your paint job, how much was it and what is the color name of it?
