Where'd the Turbo Coupe hood scoops go?

Looks killer btw...

Did your hood come with the chrome strip down the middle? i was thinking of deleting mine

Mine did but that hood is from an 81 so it had no chrome strip down the middle. I just had to fill in the holes in the header panel

got new new springs installed.. old ones sat on bumpstops pic below

I just got the windshield installed and that rubber surround looks pretty nice. I have to add a little metal in the radius at the top corners since the rubber is just a little short...I must have missed something on the mock up or the two windshields have a different radius on the top corners..oh well

Zip tie stuff

Steve,
I'd like to see a pic or two of how it looks. I'm considering ditching the metal windshield mouldings. Were these universal strips, or from a particular type of car? I might have asked you once before.
Also, what keeps the strip in place? As we know, the metal strips were held in by clips.

replaced front pump seal on transmission, finished painting motor & bolted up intake and carb, put torque converter back in...

would have started to bolt the engine up but it started to rain 🙁

Just walked past it and sneered.

I'm still pissed about the mystery dent in the fender. It hasn't even been started in probably 3 months. Lame.

They are universal and they have a channell the window sits in. You'll see at the top corner how the rubber folds in a bit. If you click on the picture it'll enlarge a bit. If you want more or bigger pictures I can email them to you. I'll have to fill the cavity with some silicone until the winter when I'll weld some metal in there. I had a blast driving it tonite.. 😀
