Changed out my 105 amp CS130 alternator, for a Powermaster 160 amp model, had to make a new power cable to handle the load as well

Well yesterday I spent the hole day working and cleaning my car. Then took it to it's first car show. I had a lot of interest in my car. People didn't know they made a Monte Carlo Turbo in 80. I decided I don't want to show my car every weekend at car shows, too much work and not that enjoyable for me. I think I will keep it a cruiser. Hats off to those who do spend hours cleaning and buffing so others can see there cars. I did see something pretty cool. I did not know they made a Oldsmobile version of a Malibu.
Not anything in particular. Went to Goodguys Heartland Nationals with my dad and walked around and watched the autocross events. Pretty cool day. Chilly here though, was only 66 and cloudy and windy.
Got my new headliner in this week. Looks great. Next project is getting a/c fixed. Recharged freon, but it leaked back out. Pretty sure compressor is shot. Any suggestions on best place to buy a compressor?
Yes. A remanufactured one was installed about 15 years ago and was converted to 134a. Was my Moms car, it has not been driven much in the past 8 years. After I put the freon in, it cooled real good, but not for long. The compressor started making a loud metal to metal sound, so I think it's toast.
We went with Delphi new on my brother's 78 Z28. I got it from a local parts house that specializes in Delco and Motorcraft. Only 1500 or so miles on the car at this point but so far so good. I have a new front accessory drive for my car from Chevrolet Performance and I think it includes the same new compressor but I'm nowhere near installing it yet.
