I drove my g body to the local Friday night show....as I usually do. There were 3 other el caminos there which is odd, but cool.

One of only 3 G bodies here. Me, the MCSS, and a Grand National the next row over.

Got my Odometer to 88,888.8 today. Feels good. When it hits 90,000 it will be in a whole nother chapter in its life. I got the car 2 years ago with 84,000 on the odometer. Drove it 1500 miles, blew the V6 up. I've driven more than 2x that in the past three months and I have in more than 2 years of owning the car lol. And before you ask, I had the camera pointed at the dash as I was looking forward driving. Safety first kids.

Found the other part to the damn dipstick for my 350. Looks good. Found out I was two quarts low 😛. I attempted to make my V6 one work. While it was the right length, for some reason the dipstick would get stuck halfway down and wouldn't fit. Plus it didn't have the right mounting tab on it so I was always afraid of accidentally pulling the damn thing out. I found the top part of the V8 tube and the dipstick from the V8. Works good. I can finally see how much oil my engine uses, if any. I know it pees a bit from either the front seal because my dumbass forgot the oil slinger, or the rear seal or oil pan due to the light mist thats all over the bottom of the engine. No puddles of oil though, not even one drop so it doesn't really bother me. The transmission on the other hand... the EPA would have my *ss if they knew how much transmission fluid I've left around this state.
