Thanks man, been a long time coming. Hell, ive had the car since 2001, but the body off resto started in dec of 2011...literally not 1 bolt, nut, etc has been untouched. A couple unplanned career changes slowed the progress, but it never stopped!Looks good!
It honestly feels somewhat bittersweet! Not being able to work on it but maybe 1 or 2 days a week has made the progress slow going....but its progress. The car has been at my bodyguy's house since halloween of last year, but the bodywork didn't really get going until this spring. He wanted it done and gone by turkey day so we are behind schedule as usual, but he knows i will be showing it so extra effort has been made to get it as close to perfect as possible! I will try not to slow down this thread much more....if you are interested there are more details in my "87 cutlass efi build thread".It's got to feel good getting so close! 5 years My frame has only been pulled for 6 months and it feels like its been too long!
Today I installed a new Cloyes timing chain and also located a pair of 5A heads /A4 intake for my 307 in a yard 3 miles away from my house! Going to hit them up Sunday.
Wow that is a great find! I've looked for 5A heads for 3 years and only seen pics lol. I also want one of those A4 intakes. Good to see someone is rescuing them from the scrapper!Today I installed a new Cloyes timing chain and also located a pair of 5A heads /A4 intake for my 307 in a yard 3 miles away from my house!
