Got my new TH350 in. And it works great. Man, that thing had the CLEANEST fluid of any TH350 sitting in a garage I've ever seen. Like a nice red wine. All buttoned up, and would you know it, the damn thing don't even leak! When it all comes out in summer/fall, I'm gonna invest in some braided SS transmission cooler lines with AN fittings. I hate the factory fittings with a passion.
I highly recommend upgrading to the an lines/fittings! I bought a cooler with the -6 fittings, the npst-an transmission fittings, and 2 jegs 6' premade lines with -6 fittings due to it being cheaper than buying 12' + the fittings. The 6' lines were just a little long so i removed one fitting, cut the line and put the fitting back on....voila!
Made it so much easier to tighten and no leak issues! I would also recommend to get some AN wrenches and assembly tools if you don't have any...they are worth it!

Congratulations! I'm glad to hear you got your car running.

SAM_1682.JPG Pulled the "seats" out of the coupe. Spent yesterday at the 2 big u pull yards in OKC, looking for some red seats (s10, blazer, 82-92 camaro, chevette, cavalier, etc)...no joy. If you need gray seats, though, now is your time!

To find this under the cover, and this is the "good" one. Anybody know what they are? Look jeepish to me, especially with their weird tracks

Not just today but have a couple days off work and this happens. This started out as a simple engine and transmission swap and interior update.
