What did you do to your G-Body today? [2011-2018]

It takes a small portion of your soul.

You are not kidding.

Not only does it suck, tear up your hands, and for me, seemingly accomplish nothing, the mess created does not work for someone with mild OCD/ADD. Grease I can deal with all day, cutting steel and welding, zero problems. Sanding dust everywhere in my garage? Let's say I am coping with alcoholic beverages tonight. And I know this is only the beginning......

Rktpwrd I'm not sure how you cope. LOL

The grinding mess is just as bad as sanding. I have the OCD too. I hate the mess. The body shop is hell. Sand paper, wire wheels, grinding discs.......WE HATES IT!!!!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!

TBH, I'm not sure how I do either!

I guess I just deal with it on an "as needed" basis. The dust is definitely the worst part. So light and easily airborne, the sh*t gets EVERYWHERE.
When it gets to the point I can no longer stand it, I'll go to town with the blow gun and blow off/out everything that's not nailed down. But it still drives me nutz!
😕

the rain finally went away late yesterday and the weather finally looks good for the next week so the GP is out on the road. It was fun driving it but one thing came up, the headlight warning bell comes on with the car running. I have to redo the timing today but luckily I found my program on another harddrive to set the distributor. It's no longer available to download...

reset the timing and with the MSD E curve you block the advancement by setting the dials in the distributor, then set the max advance you want, I set mine 34° and then set the two dials in the distributor to control the advance.....🙂

Serious thought about how cool it would be to .....
