I'm seriously considering taking the SS out from under the covers, install the battery and take it for another last ride of the season - weather today sunny and 15C (around 60F for my US friends).
Do it!

would anybody be greatly put out if I broke this thread up by year, and started a new one for 2018? I mean, the thing is over 750 pages long.....

I wouldn't be. Maybe throw a link to this thread in the 1st page of the new thread and lock this one so there aren't two running ones...

I dun did it. Rolled the windows, turned up the heat and cruised. This is sort of how I looked >🙂
What you can't hear is Christmas songs playing on the car radio. I would never have thought I'd be driving this late in the year.

I typically run mine up until Xmas eve. There are still some cruising days left. Maybe not all of them with the windows down mind you but the Gbody always did have great heat ! Then the 1st week of Jan until mid march it "should" be stored

Always a great feeling when you can leave work early and go straight to the garage,,, I did the exact same thing today.
Yep, well shed for me lol! I didn't even change from work clothes...just had to be careful to not get ARP lube all over my khakis lol!!!
Speaking of, I love being at junkyards while in work clothes(polo and khakis)...it's funny to see the looks I get as if I'm not supposed to be there. People judge, but I'm a true gearhead that gets greasy and most never know because I roam the yards dressed nice lol!
