Really the biggest hangup for me is welding on the studs for the trim, and filling in said holes. I don't have a welder, nor do I know how to weld.I think sourcing some trim and quarter windows will still be far cheaper than having vinyl installed plus you have the added piece of mind not wondering what is lurking underneath anymore.

Not likely. Plus I'm doing all the prep work short of stretching the actual vinyl. Haha agreed from what ive read I had serious brake fade when driving my old Elky hard. I dont drive this as hard yet but if I keep it, it will definitely need better brakes.. figured this is a start
