Installed new pushrods, rockers and pivots. Heavy wear on two of the pivots and rockers. Sounds like a new motor.
Painted the valve covers, oil tube, front of the block, and intake with Bill Hirsch's Late Oldsmobile Gold.
Replaced all the dry rotted vacuum lines. And it was ALL of them.
Put the AC back on and new o-rings. Will recharge AC this Spring.
Bled the brakes after replacing all the OEM brake lines with Stainless. Glad I went this route. OEM lines were not good.
Ebayed a old/new vapor canister. Threw the old one out when I did the motor swap back in late 80's. I guess I'm getting old and a little environmentaly friendly now. Plus I can have all the vacuum ports doing there intended job on the Q-Jet. Wondered why I short tubed and bolted one line
