What did you do to your G-Body today? [2011-2018]

Man, it's so much nicer having stuff in front of me for a change. Had a few minutes to kill so I put some AN fittings in the fuel rails and installed them because hotrod! Also put some sensors in the heads.
Now I need to determine whether this engine needs a black or natural aluminum throttle body. Ideas guys?? View attachment 100441

Natural Aluminum from Snake Eater Performance. Veteran owned and super good guys to deal with. He stands behind his products.

all black with the small stainless details will make it look streamlined and uniform.not an overwhelming (dare to say throw together look) catch your eye and stick out.running the black throttle body with the black intake and everything else will make it look smooth and well thought out.a aluminum throttle body will break up the flow(no pun intended).rule of thumb is if you want something to disappear paint it the same as it surroundings.if you want the opposite go for contrast.

Somehow I missed your post last night. I try to make everything look cohesive. I believe it can make or break an overall scheme....to that I'm leaning more towards a black TB to blend in.
I'm essentially trying to replicate how the 355 looked....

Couple more little things here 😀

Body drop! Hooked the service truck crane to the front of the body and the engine crane to the trunk latch in the back and lowered that sucker. You measure, template, remeasure, measure again before fixing the frame mount holes and still I needed to open a few up to get the mounts to line up. Urethane multi piece mounts suck to get lined up. If I recall correctly, the original rubber mounts had a little more wiggle room in the bolt hole. Had to grind the ends of my replacement bolts a little bit pointy like the originals had to help line things up. I was pretty flustered and didn't take any pictures. But now that it is one again, with the frame boxing , new floor pan, new under seat cross member and new stiff mounts all tightened up wow! The doors on this creaky old T-top car never shut that solid before. Onward! To drop spindles, springs and Blazer brakes!

Plugs, Wires, Distributor Cap, Rotor, Wire Looms since the wires that were on it were not run correctly, and laying on the exhaust manifold and got cooked.
