Went to a local car show I used to run. Ended up getting rained out so only a few cars showed up. But it was good to see some old friends.

Starting taking the stock fuel line and return line off of the car. They were in good shape but I'm going with 8AN for the Caddy engine. A couple of clamp bolts were nearly impossible to get to so I decided to jack up the body and go ahead and put in the new urethane body bushings. I'd rather be shanghai-ed by 47 ugly cats than go through that again. Nevertheless the fuel lines are now removed.

Got kicked out of the house for the afternoon by my realtor so took the car for another shakedown and did some fuel and timing tuning. Still have a temp problem, but with less cruise timing it stayed under 195f.

Made the inside of the wagon all nipplely.

I removed the F body bell housing and installed the "new" bell housing so the transmission sits straight. I measured to see what shims I needed on the Macleod TOB, it didn't need any shims. I was ready to crawl under the GP and then iot occured to me the bell housing isn't metric so I had no bolts for the transmission. So I made a 20 mile hike to pick up some bolts. I get under the GP and played with the transmission to get her in. Once it was in I grabbed one of the 1/2" bolts, put some blue loctite on it and then found out the hole in the transmission is too small for the 1/2"....so I removed he transmission, opened up the holes and then installed the transmission. I opened up the tunnel for the new location of the shifter and I took my Hurst shifter aprt so I can take out that 17 degree bend.
