Replaced a turn signal flasher.

Wrapped up the back of the interior and the stereo yesterday, have a feeling I will have to rework the way the top head unit is in there but for now I am going to call it good enough. Also got the rear view mirror painted and mounted, but apparently one the previous owners changed out the rear view mirror so this new one doesn't fit the best but is on there for now. I will look at getting the bigger wedge pad mounted at some point for it but want to just get this freaking thing together so that I can take it on a cruise that is happening hopefully this weekend

I got a call and had to stop by Mosteller Auto repair today. Well the car is just about done, the mechanic has taken the Carburetor out and used the kit I had supplied to rebuild it, he found out that the Carburetor wasn't broke into, like it was just thrown on with out taking off a few things and twisting the Idle mixture screws etc. He also had to order a Choke Release Valve? if I remember correctly what it was called or if I am close. Any way the Choke is not opening the Throttle a little like it should so's I have to wait for a package from New Jersey to get here 3-5 days, but more like 5-6 days, anyone who's ever ordered anything from Jersey knows what I am talking about.

The brakes have been bled and thankfully not too much in the way of bad Brake Fluid was inside. He's still got the "Mock Up" fuel line setup for testing when the Carburetor is ready and working as it should, and he is in the process of getting the flex line to replace the original fuel line. From what he tells me he has used this type of line before to make fuel lines so he's experienced.

While I was putting on the new Licence Plates he shared what all he has left to do and what he found. Not sure what the Previous-Previous owner in Idaho was trying to do to the car but at least she will be a decent runner when I get her back.

Sounds like the more he does for you, the more he finds undone.

Blasted painted and installed cruise ball bracket and misc bolts I got from junkyard. Adjusted driver's door striker inwards about 1/4", door is flush with rear 1/4 now. Also washed it. Bout it.

My dad took a little video of my car idling. It's too loud to get the revs to sound right, but this is basically what it sounds like. Hooker Headers, TA 310 Cam, 2.5" jegs exhaust with no mufflers because I can't fit any on. 😀
