Well I got everything under the hood back together today.View attachment 205740
It's full of fluids and I didn't see anything leaking after the first heat cycle in the shop.View attachment 205741
I still need tuning so I shut it down and cleaned up the mess. Brought EJ back his table and top side creeper while the truck cooled off. Then I went back and brought all my tools back to my bey. Moved some cars for Monday. It did suffer one casualty taking it back apart 3 times I kinked the pressure line for the boost gauge.View attachment 205744
I'm not to worried about it that's actually why I left it so long in case something happens to it I never liked those plastic lines that's why I always used to put copper on my oil pressure guages. I finally took it out of the shop and I did about 5 laps around the complex. Even shifted 2nd a couple of times never went over 10lbs of boost never went over 210° and egt never went above 400° in fact most of the time it was 150-200 driving in a parking lot can't tell me much about a tune but like benn said it's probably pretty close. He also said I could probably drive it but he doesn't recommend it. As bad as I want to drive it I don't think it's ready for my commute yet. Last thing I need is a wrong tune blowing it up now. The tuner owes EJ money so he's going to his place tonight and telling him just tune the truck for me and we are even I'll just owe EJ some labor on something. I'm waiting for EJ to call me now. And the truck is conveniently located in front of the detail bey to be washed. If he shows up to do all that electro-wizardry ont the fantasy box that makes these things run I'll start. For now I'll do the rest of the little things after work like change the oil and fix the floor over the 2 center cab bolts.
Yes it did and I noticed some other things wrong with it but for the moment I'm choosing to ignore them so I can move on with my life.Congratulations!! I bet it felt really good driving in the parking lot feeling all the work, time, and frustration finally paying off!
