I have been making some good progress stripping the car completely down. At this point i am going to sandblast the whole ****ing thing.
I got the rear seats out

Also i have cleared out most of the engine bay. The front clip is coming off next.

Any advice for getting the seat belt bolts out? three of them are stripped and won't budge..

Your tearing into it. Have you decided to try to fix the rust?

As for the seat belt bolts. Soaking with a really good penetrating oil works sometimes. KROIL is a really good one but it's expensive. Heat is like magic sometimes for loosening stuck bolts. Sometimes it's the only thing that works.

On the seat belt bolts, Opie's advice above is good. You could also cut a slot in the head of the bolt with something like a Dremel, and then try to get it to start turning with a hammer and a good sized chisel or a drift. Can you get on the head with a pair of vice grips? If you can, you need a good pair with sharp teeth to bite in.

This is what he's talking about. It's a manual impact wrench. It is driven by hitting it with the hammer on the end. So you get rotational force as well as force driving the bit into the fastener. If they are stripped, it may be too late for this, though you could possibly cut a slot and use a slotted bit. I can't vouch for this particular tool but I have one of these that is an old, American made tool and it is great.

You're going to grab a welder sometime sooner or later with the car, so just weld a nut on top of the bolt.
That's a great idea. I've had some success with that technique. Don't know why I didn't think of it.
