Oh I know Zach, I've just gotten so dang meticulous about stuff it takes me longer than it should. Literally need to screw in 02's, rig the exhaust, run a charge wire for the alt(think I'm just gonna run it to the starter instead of to the battery). Couple other wire hookups inside the car, bolt the grounds up and see if it cranks.

Send it! We expect the describing of how that initial crank up exhaust smells (you know that smell) by Sunday evening. Get to it! Haha

That was my other thought Mike...put a hinged lid on the well area that could be latched down, I kinda sorta just aborted that.

Yeah, it actually does. It's been several years since running. Getting the first fire up nerves going....no leaks no leaks I hope! I def need a steering wheel though....the roll around go kart wheel is NOT SAFE at all!!!

I'm gonna try in the next week or two. I've been neglecting to mow since it hasn't rained much, so have to get that done after work. Gonna be gone pretty much all day tomorrow and most of Sunday so this weekend is out unless I get lucky.

Check for leaks first !!!!!

Do you have a quality oil pressure sending unit? I've heard it can be a problem if you dont.
