That is one good looking Oldsmobile. All that polishing and sanding really paid off

Jack, I guess I missed your post yesterday. It was a lonnnng day on the car, and most things were working well until last night. We were tightening the spoiler down and heard a "crunching" sound!!! I guess one of the studs I epoxied in broke loose and began pushing it's way through the topside !!!!! It spider cracked, and we just walked away!!!!!

No hill for a climber, I think I'm going to attempt to fix it unless someone wants to donate another spoiler to the cause lol!

Also, the guy that installed my windshield and rear window used too much urethane! The trim wouldn't snap on, so I spent some time last night cutting out the excess urethane but wore down and called it a night.
I will formulate a plan of action for the next day I get to work on it, likely next Friday.

Sorry to hear about the spoiler Scott. I'm sure someone will come up with one. Nice progress to that point though.

Scott that just sucks. Sorry to hear it. When windows are professionally installed they're warrantied call the glass guy and tell him your moldings won't fit and he'll come cut the glass back out of the car glue them in correctly and your moldings will fit. As for your spoiler I still want to steal the idea

I will keep that in mind Eric. The urethane squished out around some of the clips which prevented the clips from moving. I cut away most of the offending areas last night, but ran out of steam as I worked on the car for around 15 hours!
