I have a Spectra GN tank in my Malibu. Never had any starvation issues with it but it sure does have the venting problem while fueling it up. It backs up enough air that it will spray back out of the neck if you get in a hurry.
thank god some one brings that up my og spectra tank did that, my aeromotive one wont but its still a pain to fill it i can make filling it take frigging 10 minutes to fill it totally full going 15 cents at a time.I have a Spectra GN tank in my Malibu. I thought about some thing like this but what about the level sensor.If I wanted to baffle my tank I would use the foam like we used on our circle track cars

i wanna find real world test of the Holley Hydramat. I thought of something like that with the stock pick up and an external pump for efi. I really dont want to sump my tank.
Steve,I wasn't thinking abotu the sender but it would be easy enough to fabricate a cage to protect it. We had no gauge in the fuel cell, just measured what we put in so it could do the laps required....yellow and red flags made us a bit nervous if the car could make it.

Would that foam be a good long term solution? I thought I read online that it breaks down over time.
