Sean's 78 Camaro Z28

Should we leave the wheels grey or paint them body color?

  • Leave grey

  • Paint blue to match the body car, the way the car was when new

It's the Corvette FEAD which we bought from GM (water pump, power steering pump, alternator, tensioner). Then we went with the Holley A/C bracket for the R4. I agree, it fits like it belongs in there.
It looked like C5 era Vette stuff w/the R4 from aftermarket. The Holley bracket blends well.

Sean and Dad took their cars to a show early this evening. I didn't make it there. I had to work today.

still want one of those... back in the early 80's, my brother's boss bought 2 at an out of state auction, and sent my brother and a co-worker to get them... let him drive it for a couple days when he got back. was burgandy and gold Z28 with the 4 spd, car left quite an impression on a young me...

Saw them both at the car show last night. The Z turned out awesome. Pictures don't do it justice.
Thanks! I thought you were there. Sean sent me this pic yesterday evening while I was still at the office...

Yup, that was my work in progress that he saw. The guys I met up there were F body folks as well and they commented on how well done Sean's Z turned out. I'll be sure to introduce myself next time I see him up there. Hope to see you at one of the shows too. Love to see your GP in person.

You guys did a great job. Those cars bring back memories. I found a few Fisher F body illustration they are dated 1980 but 78 was the same. Last picture are part numbers for the different color decals. That is correct for 1978.

What is that? I've never seen one. Doesn't say much, but I do appreciate the rare weird stuff that occasionally gets put out.
