:wax: Cleaned all the dust off it from the storm yesterday. Its amazing how much dirt can get in a closed garage.

while the cutlass still has some fit and finish to do under the hood, I eliminated the air tubes today... had pondered on how to cheaply do this, and without running around trying to find correct sized hardware.... said to heck with it, and broke out the welder and bench grinder...

works like a charm!

I sold another car we had to free up some money to work on the 442. Also gave it a permanent home in the garage. Took her out for a spin a few times too, and started putting together my double-din stereo install project. I've been keeping lots of photos of the restoration since we are doing most of it ourselves (and learning a lot in the process). I'll make a photo journal when we are all done. Now all I need is to find a body shop that either is not too cheap (Maaco) or not too expensive (my local guy).

95 Degree humid NC heat today...Sweaty hand slipped off the steering wheel and clipped the hoop in front of a gas pump. Just what I needed right now, new fender, bumper, turn signal housing/lens, and bumper cover. Luckily the grills were ok. :puke: 😳 😳
