Got the 5 speed installed. I was able to.run through all the gears on the stands . I need to get the loose ends tied up and then go for a road test

Ordered a transmission xmember, double hump TH400 from Jegs for $116. Also ordered a disptick and tube from GM.

Stacked a TH400 with a trans brake for a buddy with a G-body Cutlass.

I picked up an 8.5 posi rear end for $200 today. I got it home and found out it has some Richmond 4.10 gears in it 😀 . Not bad for 200 Canadian Pesos 😛

Replaced the water pump gasket, fixed my turn signals with new bulbs and a flasher. Not much else to report on.

started it yesterday ( sunday ) and took it to the coin-op carwash for a rinse down. This morning hooked it back up to the battery tender as it was a little slow cranking over. Either I need a garage or a bigger warehouse with a drive in door !

Got my new hubs today for the blazer swap. I just need to wipe off the "anti rust" coating and put some fresh paint on em for protection, bolt on the riffraff fittings and they will be ready!

Bought a Goodmark Cowl Hood for my Cutlass. Went to look at car for sale (did not buy) but he had a cowl hood I bought. It was painted gray so it does not match my car but I will fix that issue.
Here is a pic on my car not painted to match
