What did you do to your G-Body today? [2011-2018]

Decided to change the DS front channel run on the wagon, it was original and just a bit dry... It turned into a serious undertaking - including rust treatment and some POR-15. Sometimes these cars were built like total crap.

Thankfully the one from the Lemans sedan is still pliable.

Popped the "new" channel run in today. I stitched the back corner together with some black zip ties, and needed some WD-40 to get it to slide down and into the back of the frame/door (so very dry in there). Regardless, it looked like less trash when I took Tatiana to her skating lessons tonight. On the drive she keep saying "Daddy don't go fast because the Police will stop you and make you pay $100, and then you cannot buy us nice stuff."

Brought the Wagon to work today, going to recharge the AC after replacing the orifice tube. I'm also going to balance the wheels.

Started sanding on the hood I picked up only for my body guy to spray paint on it to get under my skin. And then he says don’t sand too much I got aircraft stripper at home I’ll bring in tomorrow for you!!!

Continuing some bay clean up, took her to her first car show the other day and made people realize you don’t need $25k to make something cool. Open long tubes out of a cammed big block got me some serious looks and make a couple of friends! Some mustang owner couldn’t figure out how it even ran, and my response was “it runs on hopes and dreams, but it runs.”

Edit: and ordered a mini spool yesterday since this thing is meant for two things, to be obnoxious and do big smokey burnouts.

More research.... turns out I can't turn the ABS &TCS malfunction indicators off in the Firebird gauge cluster unless I cut the leads on the LEDs. On the plus side, I learned how to set the gear and tire size in HP Tuners. Will take car of that Sat morning.
