GM performance 350 block std bore (4 inch), eagle forged cranck 3.75 stroke, eagle H beam rods, wiseco forged blower pistons, AFR 1034 heads, all brand new. Cam might come from previous engine, comp cams nitrous hp 224/236 hyd roller and weiand 144 blower and b&m superjection fuel injection

You're creating some envy with these pictures. Are you going to put this together? Asking because I believe you're gong to have to clearance the block for those rods on a 4" stroke if that was a stock block.

Also, I seen you posted a page or two back a new install of Walbro in tank pump. Hmmm, looked like a 450, but....hmmm, you might outgrow that with the parts in this post. How much boost are you looking to make? Asking because your long block is looking like a 425-525 worth of NA motor depending on the cam you pick and add some boost and a 450 is not going to be enough much beyond 6-9=8 psi based on my calcs.

Sorry to get you envy. Yes, I am building this engine myself ( not the first engine to build, started with opel 4 bangers late 70 ties and worked with engines since, previous camino engine was 305 with better cam, made 387 hp with E85)
Starting tomorrow measuring clearances with my daughter. The block is clearanced already from the factory for 383.
The Walbro is rated 900 hp N/A and 700 hp with supercharged with E85, that's why AN8 lines
Boost will set somewhere 5 to 7 psi which might be like 600 hp from the engine I hope.
Hoping to have fun with putting the engine together, have 3 month to play with it cause weather here now, snow and below 0 celsius, the car is having winter rest at some barn.

I hadn't noticed you were from Finland. I'm sure parts availability is a challenge. That must be a 525 Walbro ehh?
 
Yes, getting parts nowadays is a real pain in the ***, getting those took 3 months, yes it is 525
I'm curious of this pump. I've heard of a lot of people using them here in the states, but haven't seen anyone post the limit of one. And I haven't seen any times or dyno numbers from anyone using them that couldn't get by with a couple of 450's or AEM 380/400's. Please keep us posted of how it turns out.
 
Ahhh, Okay. Me making a false assumption here. The thought I had was that the block was a 400 block, instead of an un-bored brand new 350 performance chest. A bored out 350 would have come in larger but with the stock bore the math works just as you described. Unfortunately, all I can afford to play with are blocks needing oversizing so the best I could get to using your choice of components would be the bigger displacement, Very Nice Choice of internals, by the way.

Oddly enough, by using that 400 block and matching my 327 crank to it, I get a 327 cube motor!! Evidently Chev at some point elected to go with a standard bore diameter for just about all their motors and then simply pull from an assortment of cranks to achieve whatever CiD they desired. Even the 262 V-6 in my S-10 has a 4" bore.

As for all the bells and whistles, Yee-Haw!

Oddly enough, by using that 400 block and matching my 327 crank to it, I get a 327 cube motor!!
The 400 SBC has a factory bore of 4.125" which would make it a 347 CI with the 327 crankshaft.
But in any 4.00" bore SBC it would still be a 327

Then I will have to go back to that chart for bore vs stroke that I bookmarked since it seemed to me that it cited 4" as the default diameter for the holes in a 400 block. I do happen to have a350 4-bolt block sitting on a dolly under the mezzanine deck but it has two badly scored cylinder walls and may not clean up much before reaching .060 over.

As you probably already know 400's have siamesed bores and use steam holes which is how they accommodated the .125" larger bore.
You could still use a 3.25 stroke in the 400, it just won't be a 327, a 377 CI is a more common destroke with a 3.48 crankshaft and .030 overbore in a 400.

Got the harness removed from the 6.0. Next weekend I can find out for sure if a 6l90 won't fit. I have low expectations, but hey, at least I'll know for sure.

When re-working the harness, is there something else other than the tool you guys have found to work when removing the wires from the plugs?
