Narrower wheel spacers, stereo, and cleaned a bunch of mold. Gross. Ready to drive to work tomorrow!
It's funny you should mention that. About 12 years ago, I prepped two 4 bolt, .030 over 350 blocks and dropped a 383ci kit in each. I lubed them down heavy and sealed them in multiple plastic bags. I strip the bags every year and relube the bottom ends. About 5 years ago, I bought some inexpensive cnc aluminum heads. After the remodel, I guess I'll be putting one of the bottoms with the heads and some other stuff I have and see how the new engine runs. Something to look forward to. Thanks for the positive perspective.I'd look at that from another persepctive - now you're deciding on the new power plant for your G 😏
Broke the ol girl out, felt good to get her out and drive. Was funny when I pulled it out of the garage and was going back to close the garage door there was a lady walking her dog who made a crazy face at the car, I was not sure if she was annoyed with me at first. Turned out when she got close she complimented me on it and said it was really cool then kept looking back at it. Once I got her out tho the stereo was driving me crazy cause the speakers are going in and out and having distortion, I need to pull the head unit anyways to test to see if I can stick that one in the Blazer. But don't want to do it before we take them out this weekend so I guess I am going to deal with it for now
I know its just a tease, that the white stuff will be back and almost make it worse because of the tease of being able to get them outThat is about the only reason I miss living in the city. Winter ended much sooner and the roads were clear by April. Up here April is early. Come on... err... May?!
FML.
