Changed the oil yesterday. Started to rain so I held off of the trans gasket.

Made it into the shop at an earlier time for a change and added some more tacks to the relief cuts that I made in the lower sill edge of the door; not many, maybe a dozen. Doing this real slow and easy in an attempt to avoid too much heat and the possibility of warp. Left off that and moved over to another project but that is a thread for another forum on the site.

Heads up to all of the novices out there - it will start better if you plug in the spark plug wires.

After doing some fuel pump testing, tune loading, of course fuel system leak testing (fixing leaks) I figured ‘why not crank it up and let it fire then I’ll shut it off quick’

1/2 hour later after pondering ‘why won’t it fire’ (and checking EVERYTHING except the obvious) I looks at the plugs - oogh, I bet it’ll work better with these things plugged in.

Wow, sometimes I wonder how I managed to make it from bed, to work and then back home without life threatening mayhem.

Started the process of desmoggifying the car after passing last week. Also slammed in the new crossmember. Still need to get some longer bolts to correctly mount the trans mount. Next up is to install the Umi poly motor mounts. 11D01C31-1899-4A4D-BC04-B67C7E989227.jpeg
