First problem gave me a panic attack on the way to work this morning. Pulling the hill in my street and trying to get up to the speed of traffic it got up around 2500 rpm and the oil pressure dropped to 0 ... I quickly pulled off the road and when it dropped back to idle it sh*t back up to like 100 psi???? WTF! Go back out onto the road and it seems fine. Get out to rt88 same sh#t again. So I pull off again and start trouble shooting. First thing I knew I was low on oil because I only put 2 gallon in it but with 2 gallon it shouldn't cavitate. Call my boss and have him bring me a gallon just in case. He shows up I dump it in same sh#t so I limped it to work on back roads and parked it. I did what little research I could at work today and I think it's a bad oil pressure sensor. Actually I'm praying it's a bad oil pressure sensor because the only other thing I can think is when the diesel shop had the pan off they didn't seat the o ring on the pickup tube correctly I'm praying it's not that because I'd need to pull the trans transfer case and the mid plate. You know the exact same job I paid to have done. So I ordered a sending unit and borrowed a car to get home from work and hopefully tomorrow the new sender comes early enough I can get it in and test it tomorrow night. On the bright side detail was slow this afternoon and I finally got last winters salt washed off my truck.

They peg either end when they fail, the wife's Envoy dropped to zero when I was pulling the Corvette up to get painted. Since I couldn't hear any lifters ticking, I figured it was the sensor and kept on chugging.

X2 on the Sensor, Got in my Z06 one day, it had 36psi oil pressure with the engine not running.
That's what I'm hoping but with a diesel you really can't hear anything until it's to late and I wouldn't think I'd hear lifters because there solid roller so I was a bit nervous. I'll know for sure tomorrow.

Back from vacation, b*tches!

I apologize for nothing.

Speaking of Z06s, mine's back on stands.

A necessary evil of course to be able to get these mounted.

We'll see once they're mounted on the rims, but at first glance it appears that the Toyos (right, Proxes Sport) run wider than the Nittos (NT05 at some point, left). Going to mount and balance at my friend's place tomorrow. Next I want to get some heat wrap for the O2 harnesses, Built6spdMCSS did you bother with yours? Mine run closely above the headers, though not much closer than where they were originally pinned to the frame rails. I am absolutely dying to flog this thing on the road course again, I haven't done that since 2013 when I got the Camaro. My track experience was essentially a clean break between platforms there. Gonna try and sneak in an autox event as well. I think I just need to protect the connectors themselves, the rest should be fine. Likely just a 6" or so section per side. Oh yeah, the 3rd pic, this shows the difference in one tire and not the entirety of the stack.
