Got my gauge cluster installed and the dummy light sensors swapped out for gauges sensors. I had to convert to a newer style three pin oil pressure sender off of a Chevrolet truck so I could retain my choke circuit and fuel pump switching.

Once all this was wired in, I found out that the oil pressure sensor reads correctly but the pressure switch part is stuck on all the time.

Not a huge deal, but annoying hearing the fuel pump run any time the key is on.

you should fix the pressure switch cause if the key is on without the engine running your choke will be receive the 12 volts and you may have an issue with starting the car if the choke has been on

Also set up my spare tire finally..

thank you for that picture. With the "new" carpet I have I tried to smooth out just forward of the spare tire and could not get the carpet to fit like it does on the other side. I can see the same buckles in your carpet so it's not something I did or that the carpet was stretched. ....:)

I am going to, but the car is parked anyway until I get a resistor for the alternator circuit in the mail.

Anyone have any tips for getting the rod from the brake booster onto the pedal? Problem is I have a clutch pedal so I’m limited on space...

I have a clutch pedal too, I find it easier just to do it blind, I stick my left arm up and use my right hand to hold the pedal in place, I find the pin, slide the rod on it and then play with the R clip till it slides into place.

try loosening the 4 booster nuts so you can get some lateral movement of the rod.

Spent about 3 hours trying to get my GBodyparts triple gauge pod to fit.

Heat gun, sanding, shaving not even close.

Went to put the gauges into it just to see what it would look like and they didnt even fit.

No drum sander .........no problem zip tie vise disconnect batt to turn off.

Ghetto sander.........

Pulled the nitrous bottle out of the wagon - hope to drop it off for a recertification and top up later this week.

Going to blow myself up.
