I removed the wiring for the inline pump and installed the harness for the in-tank. I had a pink copper wire for the fuel gauge installed since the aluminum wire was dead do I just had to pull that wire from the trunk area and slide ti through the dash to the passenger side so I could tap into the fuel pump harness which has the wire for the gauge. I put the new gas tank in, connected the AN fittings for the pump and return lines and positioned the vent line. Connected the electrical, checked the gas gauge to make sure it was working, it climbed up to E so that was a good sign, took a drive in the Jeep to get 5 gallons of gas for the GP. I put the gas in and checked the gauge. just a little more than 1/4 tank so that was correct, then I fired up the GP and fuel pressure was good so I shut it down and will check for leaks and to make sure the harness is tucked away......🙂

Drove it from the parents place to the new house. Tested the ignition kill at 6psi a couple times on the way. Added some custom mat black to the frame from the wastegate.

This thing is getting scary under power. Not sure if it's the power or my fear of folding rods right now.

Huh, yeah I screwed with mine and never got it right, but I was in Okinawa where the temp didn't swing that far season to season so just lived with it. Fat in the cold lean in the summer?
Yeah, although it worked out to run VE Analyze at 2pm on the way to work when it is 75 degrees, and all was right with the world. Save and go to work. Get out and start car at midnight when it is 45 degrees, and it is pig rich and way beyond the O2 compensation window.

If I then rerun the VE Analyze, it is all good for the night but the next day it will be dangerously lean. If I then reload the 75 degree program, all is well again.

Maddening.

I crawled under the GP to make sure no fuel leaks, put a few zip ties to make sure the fuel pump harness stays in place and put the GP back on the ground. Fired her up and she sounds sweet. Just got to wait for a nice day to take her for a test drive and maybe stomp on it a few times... 😊

Got home and got to work installing the blazer sway bar. All was well until I realized the flat stock I bought is too wide for the end link mounting point! I was hoping my neighbor had some 1" in stock but no bueno. I got stopped for the night. I'll pick up the right stuff tomorrow and try again.
Also started rearranging the inside of the firewall for the LS ECM bracket. Once it's properly mounted I can route all the wires up, zip tie and tuck away.
